Good info, needs one more edit.

The information in this book series is good, and the books provide a substantial amount of practice problems for each concept, as well as a section specifically dedicated to explain the concepts. I like how Section 1 has all the practice questions and Section 2 has all the answers, while Section 3 divides the questions into manageable sets for practice (with their answers in Section 4) and the first set in each chapter gets an in depth explination of the answers in Section 5. This format makes for easy practice and study.
My complaint is that there are numorous type errors throughout the series. Each book has a few. Some are minor: like a missed coma or correctly bolded area. Some are major: like the answer section giving the Wrong answer. When you read the explination, you understand and see the correct answer is listed, but the book indicates an incorrect answer. Also, there were a few that had the incorrect answer sets, giving answers completely unrelated to the questions.
None of the issues are so major that they can't be fixed with one more pass by an editor to find and correct them. If the series underwent one more edition, I'd have no complaints!

I purchased all 7 books for my physics course and found them all very useful. I work full-time and the fact that I could access them anywhere was beyond helpful. The way these books are written really helped me understand the concepts and relationships covered in Physics 101.The Study Question Sections would fully cover all necessary material and display the same question in a variety of ways to make sure you really understood the concepts. Furthermore, the Explanation sections would lay out a step by step explanation to assist you in understanding the reasoning behind the answers.

making it easy to study anywhere

I just finished an introductory physics class which heavily referenced these concept questions books. They were much easier to navigate than a traditional textbook and can conveniently be accessed by phone, making it easy to study anywhere, anytime. Having separate sections of questions / questions with answers / questions with answers & explanations allow students to test themselves on the material, and then understand the reasoning behind the concepts. The concepts are explained thoroughly and in a way that is easy to understand for someone just beginning to explore physics.
